Last night rocked, I met some cool new people, we christened the fire pit (which is absolutely awesome by the way, if only we had suitable wood), and today and tomorrow are the class trip, which, although I was sort of dreading it at first, I am now totally psyched for. I desperately need a really good idea for an April Fool's prank. My dumbass little brother thinks that he needs to take two 35 minute + showers a day, during which he must get 3rd degree burns because he uses up all the hot water for the next three + hours. I can honestly say that I have not been able to take a hot shower in a month. The little fucker needs to pay. I suppose this can go on the list of chronic problems which have gotten seriously out of hand to which my mother says, "Oh, I'm gonna have a talk with hiiimmm," which include aggressive behavior / manhandling to the brink of abuse, complete and utter lack of respect for anything anyone else has to say, and wreckless driving. It's not my imagination, and it's not because I'm mean to him first (people who never get a hot shower tend to be irritable, go figure), and it's not just a phase either. I was really hoping that we'd learn to get along this year with my impending departure and all, but he's just gotten worse. I understand that it's part of being a teenage boy, and that it's because all he does is hang out with boys (he goes to the Prep after all), and part of this is due to his need to be like the other football players, but I'm just so sick of it. Wow, I really didn't intend to write a litony of all the bad things about my brother, because when it comes down to it he really is a good kid, but I just really want to get him really badly for April Fools... any ideas?? post a comment
Unfortunately I just lost the text twist game that I had been playing at the end of English, all through APES, and the last ten or fifteen minutes while I'm not doing my ch. 20 review questions. I was at a little over 100,000 points. Good times. Senior skip day is coming up, which is very exciting. Everyone should come, except those who will be party poopers. I don't understand why people don't want to have it on a Monday. Monday would be awesome! Also, it would be better to wait for April, because then the DECA kids who got in trouble can come and it will be a little warmer (hopefully). Anyways... life is good, spring has sprung, and I'm almost done with senior year... yeehaw! Ok kids, toodles!
Yeah, so I've been home all day... and I still haven't started my stupid speech script and I'm starting to freak out. I just can't get inspired. I thought that if I wrote about how stupid Autie and I are in study hall then even if I wasn't inspired I could still at least just write about stuff that actually happened. I mean, it really would have been more like a series of SNL skits than a speech piece though. But to make it a speech piece Mr. Jewett decided that instead it should be about two girls who are really shy and then everyone tries to get them to come out of their shells and when they finally do they are actually really annoying and it's like "get back in that shell you dingbat". I'm not sure why I just said it that way, but it's the most amused I've been all day, apart from laughing at my dog. But anyways, that's supposed to be the point of it, and it just doesn't inspire me at all. Also, I wonder if Mr. Jewett was drawing from his own experiences, maybe he thinks we would be better off shutting up in a lonely corner, I don't know, and I don't care. BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Yeah, so I got a 93.5 on the UTexas, which is awesome, especially since I didn't leave it all for tonight, except it's sort of obnoxious because I really only got one problem wrong. Sort of frustrating, but whatever. post a comment
Ok, so I have come to the conclusion that some people should simply not be allowed to have opinions. Let me give you a prime example. Today, in English class with Dr. Stuart, in preparation for our composition exam, he handed out a politically charged article (surprise, surprise) and then asked us to summarize and state our opinions. We had some time to discuss at the end of class. Gianna raised her hand and said something along the lines of, "Well, I've never heard about this Israeli-Palestinian conflict before, but George Bush is a dumbass and this article proves it." three words... What.the.fuck! I was shaking as I tried to reply to her comment without screaming, being equally as dumb, or offending anyone (it does happen sometimes, surprised?). It also angers me because Dr. Stuart has me on thin ice at the moment (for who knows what reason) and I know that if I express opinions opposite to his it will hurt my grade. And lots of other stuff but I better stop talking before I get angry and start shaking again.
lol... I just realized that I have a calendar in the middle of the biggest wall in my room... and it is open to June 2005... my how time flies... post a comment

I smell like chlorine, yay! I love swim team! I do miss all the ex-swimmers, and not a practice goes by that I don't think of them fondly, but I can't help loving it. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because endorphins make you happy, and happy people just don't kill their husbands. Today we were working on streamline (which I think should be called exstreamline, lol) and starts, and it was great, and I kept on going yay when "Mr. C" was telling us what he wanted us to do and I wasn't even joking. I'm a dork and I love myself for it! Also, we had math team today, and I got 8 points which isn't too shabby for me. And we more than doubled the team points that we got at the last meet, so that's excellent, but we didn't get any in the team round = sucks. I hope I have science league next week. Oh yeah, and I'm taking the SATs again on Saturday morning, I keep on forgetting about that. But anyways, I haven't really started any of my homework and I have a lot of it, so I think I'm gonna go do that...
